Released in 1969, the Honda CB750K was the pioneer of the Japanese big bike, as it was the first mass-produced production model with an inline 4-cylinder engine. The CB750K was Honda’s first motorcycle with a double cradle frame, and the first two-wheeled vehicle equipped with a hydraulic disc brake.
The CB750K2 was also one of the top-class motorcycles of its time in terms of performance, and was a global strategic model that succeeded in gaining a high reputation both in Japan and overseas.
The CB750K2 was based on the CB750K1, but with a higher level of refinement. The main differences are that the CB750K2 came with an area in front of the speedometer and tachometer that housed various warning lights, a larger tail lamp, and a seat shape that made it easier to get on and off the bike. The internal structure of the exhaust was also changed to reduce noise.
